Our Process

1. Initial Meeting / Design Proposal

Following your initial inquiry, we will set up a time to meet at your home to discuss your vision and needs. Planning a landscape project can seem overwhelming and it may be difficult to know where to start, but our team is passionate about creating a landscape that is custom-tailored to your needs and taste. We will get a sense of your goals, wish list and overall budget expectations. After the initial meeting, we will send a Design Proposal outlining our design service fees with options based on simplistic conceptual design or more in-depth detailed plans and renderings.

2. Design And Estimate Presentation

Once the Design Proposal is approved, our team will visit to take detailed and accurate measurements of your space, including existing slopes and elevation changes. Being as detailed and accurate as possible at this stage reduces the likelihood of surprises during the construction phase. Once the initial design is complete, a detailed estimate is prepared, and we schedule a presentation either in-person or virtually. Being a collaborative design process, from here we refine and adjust the plans based on your input and can also suggest ways to phase in certain larger ticket wish list items.

3. Preparation And Build

Following your approval of the estimate, we will send the final paperwork which includes the contract, payment schedule and finalized design. At this time a construction start date is scheduled based on anticipated permit timelines.

Our team will then meet with you at a stone yard to select materials, this ensures that you can get a sense of both the look and feel of different product options and colours. Next we will get to work on ordering materials, submitting permit applications as required, then the exciting building phase can begin!

4. Project Completion And Final Walkthrough

Our team of on-site professionals is committed to working efficiently and respectfully, and your project manager is available for any questions or requests through the entire construction phase. As the project reaches the final stages, we will perform walkthroughs to ensure all aspects meet and exceed expectations. Our team will discuss maintenance practices and our warranty.
